ABOUT

"The hardest part wasn’t the trauma. It was pretending it didn’t affect me and acknowledging that I'm human.
My mission now is to make sure no one else feels they have to suffer in silence." – Trever Sparrow

Trever doesn’t just talk about leadership and resilience; he lived through the harshest tests of both.
With honesty and heart, he shares what it really means to be human in trauma-exposed professions. His keynotes are a raw, real, and ultimately hopeful look at:

-
Building personal and organizational resilience
-
Creating mentally healthy and resilient workplaces

The JENGA Factor
Do you remember the game of Jenga?
In this Keynote, Trever talks about his journey through surviving cancer 2x and shares how the impacts of working in trauma-exposed environments costs us.
This session focuses in on an ironic parallel; How the game of Jenga is a perfect example of the work we do as First Responders and the importance of catching yourself before your stack collapses.

Air Mask & Leadership
The term 'servant leadership' is one of the most over-used and misaligned terms in leadership trends today. This phrase has negatively impacted leaders across all industries and professions by bringing unrealistic expectations on people in leadership roles. This has caused many issues including burn-out, empathetic strain, and individual fatigue on leaders, which can often lead to performance and workplace culture issues.
This Keynote will remind us that to be a truly effective leader at times, it's ESSENTIAL to "put your own air-mask on FIRST."

Tools in Your Sand Box
As a kid, Trever LOVED playing outside in the sandbox his dad built for him, in fact he would spend hours building roads, towns, jumps, bridges - perhaps he was an engineer in a previous life!
In this session, Trever shares how using the right tools are essential to building your teams sandbox and the importance that play has in being an effective and people-centric leader.
This session will remind us all of the importance of not forgetting the kid in all of us and to never stop playing.
